The dream that asks for the healing of a sick loved one, a job for someone you love who is out of work and struggling, a college education for your children. Do you believe you can have everything you dream according to the power of God that works in you?
Philippians 2:13 tells us “It is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” New Living Translation.
This means that you can have what you desire. What must you do to have these things? Let’s look at the word of God. Start speaking your destiny! Speak it into existence!
Mark 11:22 And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. 23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
It really is as simple as that. The hard part for us is the believing and receiving. Our doubt creeps in and tells us it is not possible. It tells us we are not deserving. It tells us, we have been waiting so long, so it must not be God’s will. It tells us, it’s too hard or it is not possible. Our challenge today is to believe that with God all things are possible. Our challenge is to believe that despite what we see today, despite what it may look like physically in our lives, God’s will can and will prevail in our lives. We just need to have radical faith!! A faith that says anything is possible with God.
I will share with you a personal testimony of mine. I have been very blessed of God. God has been very good to me and has blessed me way beyond what I have deserved. He has met all of my needs and most of my wants. Despite my mistakes, missteps, misguided actions, and messy situations, God still chose to extend His grace and mercy towards me, and for that I am grateful. He has answered many prayers according to His wonderful loving-kindness towards me.
Yet, one prayer I have prayed that has not been answered yet is this. I desire to get married again. I lost my husband 16 years ago. I was given the task of raising our four children alone. It was an assignment, I never thought I would be given. It was an assignment I did not want. I desired to get married again. I desired for my children to have a loving step-parent that would assist me in raising them in a loving God-fearing home. Now, years later, my children are grown and thankfully are well adjusted young adults. So, my prayer for a husband to help me raise my children went unanswered. I’m not sure why, but God’s will has been done. It was not His will for that to happen. I still have not stopped praying and believing, though. My late first lady told us in church one day, where there is life, there is hope. So, that is the hope that I still have. My hope is that it is God’s will to send me a loving husband who will love my children and me and I can again know the happiness and joy of being in a wonderful loving marriage with a man who loves the Lord, and we can both be a benefit to the kingdom of God. I speak my destiny! I speak into existence the desire of my heart! No matter how long it takes, I know I’m victorious!
My prayer is the same for you, God will bless you and keep you and answer your prayers according to His will, and you will know that a blessing delayed is not a blessing denied and that dreams really do come true!
