Hello and welcome back to on a positive note with Shoner Today I’m going to talk about five power moves to maximize your life. That’s right, five power moves to maximize your life and help you reach your goals. What are five things you can do today to maximize your life? Many of us dream of our best life, but are you living your best life today, mind, body, and spirit?  Well, here are five things you can do to maximize your life today and live your best life.

Purpose:

Do you know what your purpose is? Your purpose is your reason for living, breathing, and existing. If you don’t have a clearly defined purpose. Your purpose will aid you in accomplishing your goals. My purpose is what I’m passionate about. My purpose is what I plan, prepare, and prioritize to do. My purpose is to help other people live their best life through educating, equipping, and empowering others to live their best life. Knowing your purpose is the key to unlocking your dream life and achieving your potential. Your purpose is the thing you are really talented at. The thing that people see inside you and confirm for you. Your purpose is what will wake you up in the morning ready to go. It’s what you love, and you are really good at doing it.

Planning:

In planning the first thing you need to do is write your vision and make it plain.Write a Clear Vision for yourself. Write down where you see yourself in 6 months, a year, 2 years and 5 years. If you are not sure about your plan, pray, and ask God to reveal His plan to you. Ask Him what His plan for your life is because when you align yourself with God’s plan, you can never go wrong. When you write that plan…Start creating and visualizing small goals that you have for yourself. Write down the 1 week, 1 month, and a 6-month plan for accomplishing those goals. What would that plan include?  Would it include updating your resume? Would it include doing research on how to start a small business? Would that plan include researching how to go back to school to become a chef or to specialize in the culinary arts? Write your vision, write action steps for your vision and when you write your plan, stick to it and commit wholeheartedly

Partnership:

I cannot stress this enough. Having an accountability partner to help you implement your plan or a mentor to coach you is critical. The phrase, teamwork makes the dream work is so true. I’m blessed to have my accountability partner, Gloria. Gloria and I set action goals, and we hold each other accountable for achieving those action goals, and I’m thankful for her being my accountability partner because I know she’s going to make sure that I’m focused because she only wants the best for me. So when you plan and have an accountability partner that’s going to hold you accountable for actually implementing your plan, you will be more likely to achieve your goals. Surround yourself with supportive people who believe in you and want to see you succeed.

Prioritizing:

It is very important to prioritize your dream with a vision. Because vision without power dies in your dream and vision we all know time gets away from you. When you set priorities for your day, it allows you to achieve more within your day. Prioritize your goals, and your action steps say to yourself before I watch TV tonight, I’m going to make sure I’ve accomplished two things on my plan. Before I go out with my friends this weekend, I’m going to make sure that I cross off 3 action steps for maximizing my life. When you prioritize what you need to do to implement your vision and maximize your life, you get so much more accomplished. Focus on prioritizing what’s important. Keep the main thing the main thing. If you’re not keeping the main thing the main thing, you will see yourself in the same place 6 months from now, a year from now, five years from now. My purpose in coming to you each week is to let you know, I don’t want you to be the same in six months. I want you to be different. I want you to be better. I want you to have more success, more joy, and more soulfulness than your soul can stand and make sure you consistently on a daily basis prioritize. It can be something as simple as making sure you get an hour of me time every day to refuel, refresh and recharge so that you’re the best you for everybody around you.

Persevere:

Failure is a part of life. When you are working towards your dreams and goals, inevitably you will fail. What are you going to do when you fail? Are you going to give up or are you going to keep going? In life, things happen we don’t expect. Situations arise, we don’t expect. We have to push ourselves to keep going despite our failures. Think of failures as stepping stones to your success. When you fail get up and reach out. There may be people that can help you along the way. Having your accountability partner or a mentor who can assist you is priceless. You can have the life you want, you just have to commit to working towards it each day and celebrating your success along the way.  So today your home work is going to be to write your plan on how you are going to implement the 5 P’s for a powerful life and let me know what you plan on doing to succeed. The power lies in you. Keep in touch. Leave comments here or on my website and let me know how.
